Amber Peterman

Amber Peterman is a multicountry impact evaluation specialist at UNICEF's Evaluation Office, based in Nairobi. Her work focuses on the intersection of gender and development with an emphasis on violence against women and children, social protection and adolescent well-being. She is a quantitative researcher, has collected large-scale data in more than a dozen countries, and published more than 60 academic articles. Amber holds a PhD in public policy from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she previously worked as research associate professor.
